WA PGA Championships

In October, the Kalgoorlie Golf Course hosted the TX Civil & Logistics WA PGA Championship.

The Goldfields Golf Club played an important role in making the tournament a great success.  Over 25 members volunteered their time for the four day event.  Members also donated their push buggies and provided accommodation to visiting professionals.  Thanks to all those involved!

GLO Cancer Care Unit

The Goldfields Ladies Open Committee are excited to announce that $2000 was raised for the Cancer Care Unit at Kalgoorlie Regional Hospital.

Graeme Wilmot (Chairperson of the GGC) presented a cheque to Dimity Elsbury - Clinical Nurse Consultant (Oncology) on Sunday, 10th of November at the Goldfields Ladies Open presentations.  All funds raised from raffles and fines were put towards the tally.

A huge thank you to Scott Milling for the use of his pink cadillac throughout the tournament.  Participants were able to buy tickets for a chance to take a ride in his beautiful car.  Thank you also to all of the generous ladies who helped raised some vital funds.
